Dialog Act Labels:
- Informing – Providing any information or facts to the listener.
- Questioning – Asking for information, clarification, or confirmation.
- Acknowledging – A way of showing that the listener has received and understood the previous message.
- Directive – Giving instructions, requests, or commands to the listener.
- Sympathizing – Expressing understanding, care, empathy, or compassion.
- Commissive – Refers making a promise, offering, or undertaking a future course of action.
Example for Dialog Act Labels:
'Informing': "Leo, I really think you’re beating around the bush with this guy."
'Questioning': "Are you going to the annual party?"
'Acknowledging': "That’s a good idea."
'Directive': "As my mum tells me, you won't have it forever, so don't be foolish and pick at deep acne."
'Sympathizing': "So sorry you're feeling self conscious."
'Commissive': "I intend to finish this project by Friday."
